From order to a completed pallet batch
At HGV, we combine specification development, material preparation, production, timber treatment and delivery planning.
After accepting an order, we prepare a production job and plan the required number of boards, beams and blocks. Components are cut to size and pallets are assembled on dedicated tables or specialist pallet nailing machines.
We can work from customer documentation or select the construction based on the product, its weight, load distribution, storage and transport method.

We manufacture standard pallets, large custom structures, pallet boxes and transport crates. Load capacity is determined from the weight and type of goods, load distribution and whether the pallet is supported on the floor, a rack or a production line.
This allows us to select board thickness and layout, the number and type of blocks and any required reinforcements.

Drying and marking
Pallets can be made from timber with natural moisture content or dried to no more than 22%. For export, we carry out HT phytosanitary treatment during which the timber reaches at least 56°C for a minimum of 30 minutes.
Completed batches are marked with industrial printers. The print can include the IPPC mark, batch number, customer logo or other agreed text.
From short production runs to regular full-truck deliveries
Standard pallets are usually delivered within 2–4 working days. New custom constructions requiring production normally take around 5–15 working days, while we always consider the customer’s requested delivery date.
Pallets prepared for export
Phytosanitary treatment can be combined with full drying and the required batch marking.
Transport matched to the order
We arrange deliveries by vans, rigid trucks, standard trailers and road trains.
