After completing the HT phytosanitary treatment, we mark the pallets with HGV’s registered number PL-24 456 and the treatment code HT.
The IPPC mark identifies the country of treatment, registered operator and treatment method. It is required for wooden packaging material traded with many countries outside the European Union.

Temperature, control and marking.
We do not use chemicals. Treatment is carried out with heat in a chamber designed for pallets and wooden packaging.
Kiln loading
Pallets are arranged so that hot air can flow through the entire load.
Heat treatment
The timber reaches at least 56°C and remains at that temperature for a minimum of 30 minutes.
IPPC marking
After treatment, we apply the PL-24 456 / HT mark to the pallets.
IPPC treatment does not always mean full drying.

The process prepares the pallet for IPPC marking, but it may still retain its natural high moisture content.

Reducing pallet moisture content
The cycle normally takes about 2–3 days and removes excess water from the timber. It can be combined with HT treatment.
Purpose: moisture content up to 22%We can perform HT treatment alone or combine it with full drying to obtain an IPPC-marked pallet with moisture content no higher than 22%.
